President & CEO
John is a dedicated nonprofit professional committed to achieving scalable and sustainable impact. He joined Penny Appeal USA as its second CEO in 2021.

Shafaq serves as the Chief Programs Officer at Penny Appeal USA and is the driving force behind our diverse programs.
Dawn Willson
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Dawn oversees Penny Appeal USA's ensures the company has effective operational and financial procedures in place.
Mostafa Mahboob
Chief Development Officer
Mostafa has been working in the nonprofit sector since 2003. He was previously the Sr. Development Manager at CAIR-LA for more than seven years.

Aymen is a marketing and communications professional with over two decades of experience growing corporate and non-profit institutions.

Nadeem Riaz is a southern California native who has been working in the non-profit and for-profit industry focused on Muslims for the last 14 years.

Programs Manager
Sarah helps manage Penny Appeal USA’s many projects around the world. She comes to Penny Appeal after 10 years of working in development and humanitarian aid.

Domestic Violence Projects Lead
Sa’idah Sudan has worked in a Level I Trauma Center for over 20 years, 10 years as their Certified Domestic Violence.

Marketing Coordinator
Maleeha is a marketing and communications professional with several years of non-profit experience working with organizations that provide wraparound support services for women and children in the DC-MD-VA area.
Fatimah Al Hashimi
Programs Coordinator
Fatimah is Penny Appeal USA's programs coordinator and has several years of domestic and international experience in the non-profit sector. Her passion is to always leave a positive impact and advocate for social change through her efforts.
Simone Davis
General Accountant
Simone joined Penny Appeal in 2022. She provides accounting support with more than 10 years of experience in the accounting field. Simone started in the accounting field when her father opened a business in Brazil.
